Equity and Inclusion in PHAS is expanding! We are looking for new members (grads or post-docs) to join our committee and help out at events, so we’re holding elections:

You can commit to as much or as little work as you like, but we’d love to have you at our elections! We are looking to fill the following positions:
Workshop Coordinator (2 positions)
- Keep up with offered workshops at UBC
- Email to advertise for those workshops
- Work with workshop teams for organizing E&I-specific workshops
- Organize the monthly cookie socials (can also be a separate position)
Treasurer (1 position)
- Event funds applications
- Sponsorship work
- Keep track of E&I expenses over the year
Media/Communications Coordinator (1 position)
- Keep the Website up to date with events and resources
- Take meeting minutes
- Edit documents/applications as needed
General Members (many positions available)
- Invited to attend the committee meetings
- Help out around large events (1-2 per year)
- Set up, take down, etc.
